New Kamen Rider Movies: What to Watch After ZEZTZ

Kamen Rider movies in 2026: ZEZTZ Farewell Mission and Gavan Infinity in theaters now, the announced MY-TH film, and what the winter-movie pattern says is coming.

New Kamen Rider Movies: What to Watch After ZEZTZ

The Kamen Rider movie calendar turned over this summer. Here's the factual state of play as of August 19, 2026 — what's in Japanese theaters now, what's officially announced, and what's pattern-matching rather than news.

In theaters now: Kamen Rider ZEZTZ: Farewell Mission

The ZEZTZ summer movie — commonly listed as Kamen Rider ZEZTZ: Farewell Mission — opened in Japanese cinemas on July 24, 2026, double-billed with Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity as this year's "W Hero" summer double feature. The official movie site is zeztz-gavan-26movie.com.

For ZEZTZ viewers the hook is simple: the series ends August 30, and the film is positioned around that endgame. It also carries a franchise first beyond ZEZTZ itself — Kamen Rider MY-TH makes its theatrical debut inside Farewell Mission, ahead of the new series' television premiere. If you want your first look at the next Rider on a cinema screen, this is the movie that has it.

Double-billed: Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity

Sharing the bill is the new Space Sheriff Gavan film — the Metal Hero line returning alongside Kamen Rider in the traditional summer pairing. The double-feature format is the same one Toei has used for recent summer seasons, and it makes the ticket a two-franchise event.

Announced: Kamen Rider MY-TH's own movie

A theatrical MY-TH film — listed on fan-maintained upcoming-production trackers as Kamen Rider MY-TH: Twelve Zodiacs, Ten Colors — is in the pipeline. No release date has been officially confirmed at the time of writing, so treat any date you see online as unannounced until Toei says otherwise. What is confirmed: Kamen Rider MY-TH premieres September 6, 2026 on TV Asahi (Sundays 9:00), as the 41st Kamen Rider series and the flagship of the franchise's 55th anniversary. Its premise — the Zyunishi Doumei (Twelve Zodiac Alliance) reawakening in the modern era against creatures called Fukashigi — was revealed alongside its full trailer in early August.

The winter movie: expected, not announced

Recent years have paired the outgoing and incoming Rider series in a December crossover film. No winter 2026 movie has been announced as of this writing. If the pattern holds, expect a ZEZTZ × MY-TH crossover announcement in the fall — but that is pattern-reading, not news, and we'll update this post when Toei confirms anything.

Watching from Canada

All release dates above are Japanese theatrical dates. No North American theatrical or streaming release has been confirmed for Farewell Mission / Gavan Infinity at the time of writing — recent Rider summer movies have reached Western home video and streaming months after their Japanese run. We don't sell or stream the films; we sell the collectibles. The DX toys these movies debut tend to hit our shelves in the weeks after their Japanese announcements — the Kamen Rider collection is where they land.
